You should read these repair ideas when looking for error emails in Outlook 2007.
Problems with searching in Outlook are common, especially if you’ve been using Outlook for a long time.

5. Scan Your PST Track For Errors
Depending on the size of your PST file and the damage to the money, this process may be performed on the file.
- Close Outlook completely.
- Find another file called scanpst.exe:
- For Windows 32-bit: Files Microsoft c: Program Files Office Office12
- For 64-bit Windows: C: Program Files (x86) Microsoft Office Office12
- Double click to start the desired program.
- When Inbox Repair (scanpst.exe) unpacks the archive, enter the location of the PST or OST file. It should get it by default, but not in subdivision. You can get your file here:
- Windows XP: C: Documents and, Hence, Settings % Username% Local Settings Application Data Microsoft Outlook
- Windows Vista +: C: Users % username% AppData Local Microsoft Outlook
- Click Start.
- After a while, the Inbox Repair Tool will provide you with some documentation and several options for the correct next step. Make sure “Save scanned file before restoring” is selected.
- Click “More …” for more information on corruption.
- Click “Recover” to start recovering these files.
- After a moment, the Repair Complete dialog box appears.
You will now try to locate the Outlook 2007 file again.

- Disable the data document you are having problems with.
- Close Outlook and end time for at least 5 minutes. Verify that Outlook.exe closes correctly by opening Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) and searching for Outlook.exe in the process.
- Open Outlook, go to options Search frame and select the data file again.
- Click OK.
- Add computer time to the file to make sure you have a search index.
7. Rebuild Each Index

You can form a series of phrases in the current search box at the top of your Outlook message list. You can use different spaces, punctuation marks, and keywords to search for different additional words and phrases to narrow down your business results. The easiest way to search is to simply change a word or phrase.
