(Requires Ubuntu report to fix this issue).
Support for the JMicron JMB363 IDE controller was no longer supported in some major
kernels prior to 2.6.18. This controller is widely used on new used motherboards based on the Intel 965 chipset compared to Core 2 Duo processors. Improvements to this bug are usually serious because future diskswill often be sample IDEs and therefore unusable, making the most common installation methods unusable on most of these systems. If possible, we should back up the specific patch for this controller from 2.6.18 and provide an updated boot.iso if you need users with this controller who can install
from CD / DVD.

Support for the JMicron JMB363 IDE controller was undoubtedly dropped in the mainstream
kernel prior to version 2.6.18. This controller can be described as common on new used motherboards based on the Intel 965 chipset for Core 2 Duo processors. The results and this error are
usually serious, to ensure that the drives are often IDE models, but therefore cannot be used,
making the vast majority of common installation methods completely unusable on systems. If possible, we should back up certain patches for this controller from version 2.6.18 andprovide updated boot.iso so that users with this controller can boot from CD / DVD.

Bug in line filter for IPv6 code as reported by Dowd, buffers fixed (CVE-2006-4572).
A typical Linux kernel ATM subsystem can allow a remote attacker to cause a denial of service (panic) through unknown vectors, prompting the ATM subsystem to learn about the access socket buffer after clients have done so.
The packages provided are indeed patched to address these vulnerabilities. All
users can immediately upgrade to this updated kernel and restart
to fix the bugs.
In addition to these security fixes, alternative fixes have been added, such as:
– new in patch 126.96.36.199 – full error handling in pccard_store_cis –
added NX Halloween mask for PTE recording on x86_64 Bugfix – snd-hda-intel OOPS –
Activation with fallback transfer is associated with r8169 (r8168 / r8169SC.)).
r8169 Chipset Cards – Cause Resource Conflicts Libata – Fix XenU-Fender-Bender and re-enable the DomU boot protocols – really should have a refcount error caused by
software with / proc / [pid] / auxv
