    Support for the JMicron JMB363 IDE controller was no longer supported in some major
    kernels prior to 2.6.18. This controller is widely used on new used motherboards based on the Intel 965 chipset compared to Core 2 Duo processors. Improvements to this bug are usually serious because future diskswill often be sample IDEs and therefore unusable, making the most common installation methods unusable on most of these systems. If possible, we should back up the specific patch for this controller from 2.6.18 and provide an updated boot.iso if you need users with this controller who can install

    from CD / DVD.
