  • Select the AnyConnect VPN icon on the new device, then tap AnyConnect VPN.
  • On the AnyConnect screen:
    1. Select the appropriate VPN group authentication profile for your location from the group drop-down menu. For more information about each of these authentication profiles, see the VPN FAQ page.
    2. In the Assigned Username field, enter your USC NetID username. Your USC NetID username and change is the username and account information you use to sign in to services such as my.usc.edu and Workday.
    3. In the Password field, enter your USC NetID password.

    NOTE. When someone logs in for the first time, you will immediately be prompted to trust the app. Check the box next to I trust this app. Accept this and connect to the VPN.Loading=”lazy”

  • If you have successfully connected to the VPN, usc will probably show Connected in the AnyConnect VPN section of the app.
