There are two possible approaches you can take when you need to reset the BIOS of your Acer computer due to a lost BIOS password. Some Acer computers have some kind of special jumper that can be used to reset BIOS settings, including password, while others require our own clock battery to be removed. The full removal process works on all Acer computers, including desktops and laptops, or is often the only option available when you need to reset BIOS passwords.
Step 1
Unplug the power cord from the back of your Acer computer.
