1. Download and install ASR Pro
2. Open the program and click "Scan"
3. Click "Repair" to start the repair process
 There are 5 different versions of the K-Lite Codec Pack. From a very small large packet, which at best contains the most important decoders, to every larger and more extensive packet. The general differences between the options can also be found below. Detailed options can be found by comparing some features and comparing article pages about codecs
These packages are compatible with Windows Vista / 7/8 / 8.1 / 10. Older versions also with XP.
Packages contain both 32-bit and 64-bit codecs, so they work great on both x86 and x64 Windows flavors!

This Codec related type is used by some editing applicationsAniya / TV encoding to work with AVI files. For example VirtualDub.
These codecs are required or not required for video playback.
Important Note: The K-Lite Codec Pack does not extend the precise import capabilities of professional video creators such as Vegas Movie Studio, possibly Adobe Premiere. These applications often primarily support the import of small amounts of file formats and do not make it easy to use the codec types, most of which are included in codec post-processing (DirectShow / VFW). Modern publishers often only use their own internal codecs, or mostly support external codecs from the Media Type Foundation.
And a few additional DirectShow filters are recommended:
- ffdshow Audio / Video Provides the processor with several filters for editing new music and decoded videos.
- ffdshow Audio / Video Alternative preferred decoder for LAV audio / video decoders.
- AC3Filter, great alternative for LAV audio decoders.
Important note: the above additional filters are not installed, only by default. We also recommenddo not use these obsolete filters. They are definitely only included for a small group of people who have a reason to use them. We strongly support the use of standard decoders that use this package. It is better.
Important Note: All of Mega’s advanced features are only useful for a new small group of people. It certainly doesn’t offer the ability to play additional audio or video formats. If you are only interested in reading, then the full version is already for you.
